EPA’s Trash Free Waters program is very pleased to be hosting a webinar by Dr. Chelsea Rochman on Jan. 31st at 1:00 pm EST.
The webinar is entitled “Impacts of Plastics in the Aquatic Environment.”
Dr. Rochman is an internationally renowned researcher on the effects of aquatic trash, especially plastics, in the environment. She’s also a very engaging speaker!
The webinar is intended for a general audience and will include an overview of the issue of plastics and microplastics in the environment, as well as consideration of the potential risks posed by plastics and microplastics.
