Richard Heilbrun speaking on Conservation Laws & Ethics: An interactive exploration (Part 2)

October 17, 2019 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Texas Master Naturalist (TMN) – Brazos Valley Chapter invites the public to our monthly chapter presentation.
Speaker: Richard Heilbrun – Conservation Outreach Program
Leader, Texas Parks & Wildlife Department
Title: Conservation Laws & Ethics: An interactive exploration (Part 2)

Join Richard Heilbrun for a continuation of the discussion he began with us last year. He will lead an interactive exploration of conservation-based ethical dilemmas and the laws that may or may not govern our behaviors which will benefit Master Naturalists and the public. Sometimes ethical and legal dilemmas are not black and
white, and this discussion will challenge you to explore your viewpoints and the laws that mold our system and our behaviors. Are the wildlife laws outdated? Maybe yes and maybe no. What role do Texas Master Naturalists and the public play in shaping the conservation ethos and wildlife laws that exist in our society? This discussion will explore all these questions and more.
