Speaker: Sam Rhodes – Staff Forester II – Texas A7M Forest Service
Title: Healthy Trees, Healthy Lives
Summary: Sam Rhodes will address the importance of urban greenspaces, and what benefits we can derive from preserving and maintaining them. He will cover the ecological, societal, and health benefits of preserving these greenspaces, giving a quick introduction to ecosystem services of urban forests as well as some of the newfound health benefits of having urban greenspaces more available.
