Inspired by the work done by the TMN Heartwood Chapter, Our Board has been exploring the idea of setting up a TMN training program at a local prison. It was decided to call a special meeting to share information with our chapter members and to discuss this potential new program.
Our speaker will be Elizabeth Smith, Horticulture Instructor at Lee College, to present ‘Establishing a TMN Program at the O.L. Luther prison unit in Navasota, TX.’ The O.L. Luther Unit is a medium security state prison for men located in Navasota in Grimes County. It is owned and operated by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
We will be meeting, as usual, at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History in Bryan. However, do note that this meeting will begin at 6:00pm. We will be meeting in the Discovery Room.
