Texas Stream Team Citizen Water Quality Monitors Training

Dr. Lucas Gregory, Texas Water Resources Institute, will be providing Texas Stream Team Core Water Quality Monitor Training/E.coli testing. The training will be held at the Ecology and Natural Resource Teaching Area (or ENRTA), 1183 Fishtank Rd, College Station, TX 77845. This training is approved for TMN AT hours. After completion of the training, your hours spend monitoring water quality with our Stream Teams count as volunteer hours for both TMN as well as Texas Water Specialist Programs. We only offer this training once in a while so register by Sunday, 10/28.
Please complete the short register form. The training is free and is open to the public. You do not have to be a member of Texas Master Naturalist Brazos Valley Chapter to be trained as Citizen Water Quality Monitors. Please bring your own lunch and beverage.

  • Once you complete your training, you will be assigned to one of our active Stream Teams.
  • We will not accept your registration unless you commit to help with water quality monitoring for one year.
