Presentation Title:   The Human Side of Lick Creek Park: From Ancient to Last-Century Lifeways in the Post Oak Savannah

We (the board) have been discussing a Big Project to take on for our TMN Brazos Valley Chapter and we think Lick Creek Park is right up our alley.  I’m sure everybody is aware of all the changes that are taking place out at Lick Creek now and we need to help maintain the park and keep it as natural as we can.  To help us we need to know about the history of Lick Creek and the importance of keeping it not only as a reserve for flora and fauna but for the historical aspect as well.  So come to the meeting and learn about the history of Lick Creek Park.
