Located in Camelot park, near Blinn college, the Wild Foods Garden is a joint project between the City of Bryan Parks and Recreation Department and the Brazos Valley Master Naturalist chapter. As a living classroom, the Wild Foods Garden provides a place for learning about the wonderful, natural resources all around us; right here in Bryan/College Station.
Through our classes, participants learn to recognize common edible species of native plants and how to easily grow them in their own homes.
From delicious wild fruits and vegetables to aromatic herbs and flowers, we invite you to come learn more about how these amazing plants can be both beneficial to people and the environment!
Everyone, of all ages, is encouraged to participate in our classes; it’s fun, it’s healthy, and it’s free!
Typically, we hold classes on the last Saturday of each month and begin at 10 AM. Spaces are limited.
