Advanced Training Opportunity: VMS category: AT: Agrilife Land Management and Wildlife Conservation Workshops and Programs
Mark your calendars for an incredible series designed specifically for landowners in the South Central Texas region with questions about pasture and rangeland management. The 2018 South Central Texas Range and Pasture Management Series kicks off on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Brazos County and landowners from all across the area are invited to attend this unique series focusing on pasture and rangeland evaluation, rehabilitation, renovation, and restoration.
The series is slated to meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of October and November at different locations throughout Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, and Washington Counties. Each session has been specifically designed to answer common questions related to evaluating soil health, pasture/rangeland conditions, management options, grasses and grass systems for the area, weed and brush identification and management, and setting up a forage management calendar for landowners. Fall is the perfect time to begin thinking about and making preparations to improve pasture and rangeland quality to meet the designated need landowners have for the property.
For anyone who owns a piece of Texas this is a program for you! We will not leave any leaf-blade unturned and will have educational presentation from experts as well as hands on learning during each program in the series.
