The NPAT-Fayette Chapter is organizing an educational Prairie Walk on the Banik Remnant Prairie (Only One Sky Farm).
Explore the beauty of nature at Valerie and Randal Banik’s Only One Sky Farm Fayette Prairie!
Led by David Bezanson from the Texas Nature Conservancy, we’ll delve into plant identification on this NPAT-Fayette Prairie Chapter event. With a current application for a conservation easement, this 65-acre prairie is a gem preserving the rich legacy of the Fayette Prairie.
Jason Singhurst, TPWD biologist, has discovered over 200 plant species across four distinct plant communities, offering a fascinating glimpse into the area’s biodiversity.
Remember to bring your own essentials – water, snacks, hat, and sturdy shoes – for an enriching and educational walking tour.
