Time to Restore Texas Workshop: Informing Climate-Smart Plantings for Pollinators [Citizen Science]

August 21

Free

The Time to Restore project, led by the USA-National Phenology Network (NPN) and covering Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, seeks to generate better information about nectar availability and seed timing to help those working on pollinator restoration know what to plant and when to harvest seeds.

Help shape this important project! In this FREE, two-hour virtual workshop, you will learn more about the Time to Restore project, weigh in on the best plant species to target for ongoing monitoring and assessment in Texas, help generate ideas for recruitment and engagement of volunteer data collectors, and give your input on how the data collected by this project can be best presented back to those working on pollinator restoration.

Select from two options to participate in this Citizen Science project:

  • Wednesday, August 21, 2024, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CT
  • Saturday, August 24, 2024, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CT

Note that Registration starts on Aug. 1 at 8:00 am. For more info, navigate to Time to Restore: Connecting People, Plants, and Pollinators | USA National Phenology Network (usanpn.org) and download the flyer to save the date!
