VMS opportunity: AT: NGO Workshops and Programs on Wildlife Conservation and Land Stewardship
Hosted by the Texas Stream Team at the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, this training focuses on the nature and function of streams and riparian zones. Learn about riparian principles, watershed processes, basic hydrology, erosion/deposition principles, and riparian vegetation, as well as potential causes of degradation and possible resulting impairment(s). You will also be given available local resources including technical assistance and tools that can be employed to prevent and/or resolve degradation.
Please bring a sack lunch and dress accordingly for the outdoor segment of
the training.
