SCTPBA Prescribed Burn Manager Course (alt. date for Class 4 for TMN)

The SCTPBA is hosting a Prescribed Burn Manager course over four sessions. For more information and to register for the course, consult the SCTPBA website: https://www.sctpba.org/upcoming-training/.

The first session will be held at Camp Kubena. Check back for more information on the location for later sessions. Also note that the March session may be moved to avoid conflict with the TMN GLC chapter meeting.

10:30 – Introduction to a Prescribed Burn Plan

3:00 – Contacts and burn justifications

Training Day 2 – January 22, 2022

9:00 – Weather part II – Sources for a fire weather forecast
10:30 – Vegetation response to fire
