VMS opportunity: AT: NGO workshops and programs on wildlife conservation and land stewardship

Kids today will face the challenges of a warming world head on. They have a right to understand the realities of the climate crisis and what it means for them – and so the adults in their lives have a responsibility to provide that knowledge as best they can.

That’s why on November 23 at 1 PM ET, Climate Reality is excited to host Spotlight On: Talking to Kids About Climate Change. Join us as four leading experts on the topic share their unique insights and some best practices for having these meaningful conversations.

  • Dr. Aaron Bernstein, interim director, The Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
  • Barbara Martínez-Guerrero, environmental and elementary educator with a focus on sustainability and conservation; executive director of Dream in Green.
  • Harriet Shugarman, author, How to Talk to Your Kids About Climate Change, Turning Angst into Action; executive director of ClimateMama.
  • Dr. John Fraser, a psychologist leading Knology, a New York think tank; editor, Curator: The Museum Journal; series editor for Springer Nature’s Psychology and Our Planet.
Together, we can offer kids a foundational knowledge in climate change that will set them up well for future learning – and give them an early passion for protecting our planet.
