TMN-GLC AT Opportunity: Roots to Results – Grazing, Livestock, Range

South Central Texas Landowners Program
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices of Grimes, Lee, Waller and Washington Counties will host the South Central Texas Landowners Program which is designed for new landowners as well as those seeking to refresh their knowledge on land stewardship, management practices, and available resources. This program aims to help participants better understand the responsibilities and opportunities that come with owning and managing rural property. Sessions will cover a variety of topics important to land stewardship, including best management practices for soil, water, and wildlife; understanding property tax valuation options; and navigating local, state, and federal resources available to landowners.
Whether you’ve recently purchased property, inherited land, or simply want to strengthen your management strategies, this program will provide the tools and connections you need. It’s about helping landowners make informed decisions that benefit both their land and the surrounding community. The South Central Texas Landowners Program brings together experts from AgriLife Extension and partnering agencies to present practical, research-based information. Attendees will have opportunities to network with other landowners and resource professionals, making it a valuable event for building long-term management plans.
