PRESENTATION: Photographing the Birds, Bees, and Other “Stuff”  by Corey Rich

SPEAKER BIO:
Want to take better nature photos or tell a good photo from average? Film cameras and darkrooms became part of Corey
Rich’s life from college to Vietnam, to Madison Avenue and to Texas. He switched to digital cameras when the technology
became good enough to compete with film. Corey’s motivation in photography is simple – he views it as a journey.
Once he’s found the few images of nature in action, portraits or closeups that he selects for post-processing,
he’s off to the next adventure with his very accomplished birder spouse. Corey is a member of the
Houston Innerloop Photography Club (HIP Club), Pixels + Silver, and Old Men with Cameras.
You can find Corey in his studio at Spring Street Studios experimenting with lighting and
editing his myriad of nature photos.

In addition to the main presentation by Mr. Rich, there will be several short presentations by members of the Class of 2024 and our business meeting. As always, the public is welcome.
