Join chapter and community members to learn about Time to Restore, a citizen science project designed to gather information on when nectar plants bloom and set seed. The goal of the project is to understand how climate change affects nectar plants and the insects that rely on them. David Gwin, the Texas coordinator for Time to Restore, is a Texas Master Naturalist with the Gulf Coast Chapter.
The chapter meeting will be held March 15, 2025, with business beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the extended “Time to Restore” training session scheduled for10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds in the Sales Facility building.

About Time to Restore
The Time to Restore project, led by the USA National Phenology Network and covering Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, seeks to generate better information about nectar availability and seed timing to help those working on pollinator restoration know what to plant and when to harvest seeds.
