Stream Team Training: August 13 in Georgetown

June 16, 2015 by

Dear Future Stream Monitors,
Travis Tidwell has agreed to train y’all in the basics of stream monitoring on August 13, 2015.    The training classroom of the AgriLife Center that you all know well has been reserved for that morning, 8-1.      We need to hear from Travis as to what time he wishes to commence: the last time, if I remember correctly, we began at 9 and ended in the classroom around 12:30.   The field work ended around 3:30-4.    So it is an entire day but somehow the time goes quickly.
We ordered lunch enmass from a deli last time, which is probably feasible again.    Or I could just have pizza delivered.    We could also just all bring our own.   Let me know your wishes and we’ll go with the majority.
If you know anyone else interested in getting stream monitoring training and know they haven’t contacted me yet, have them do so.  If you have questions, call me:  409-392-3603.
I’m pleased that you wish to participate in stream monitoring.   I think you will find it lots of fun, and leave you feeling ‘virtuous’, too.   If you have any questions or concerns, contact me or Larry Swift.
