Doeskin Ranch: AT Environmental Education Training

February 19, 2019 by kateknight

Dear Nature Loving Volunteers,

We are excited to announce this year’s environmental education training schedule! If you are new to volunteering or would like a refresher on our 3rd through 5th grade field trip curriculum, this training is for you.

A couple of our wonderful retired teachers/volunteers have improved the curriculum to better align with Texas education standards. If you have volunteered in the past during our field trips, you will find the tweaks minor and will be able to pick them up on the fly or you can join us for this fun training.

Environmental Education Training (Counts as AT for Master Naturalists)
Thursday, March 21 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Flying X (click here for directions). This training will give you hands on experience with our curriculum, Bridges to Birding and Going Buggy. Bring your own lunch. **To register for this training, email jennifer_brown@fws.gov or call me at 512-339-9432 ext. 70 and let me know you are going to attend.**

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

Gratefully,
Jennifer

Best,

Jennifer Brown
