Want to stimulate and feed your brain? Want to know your fellow naturalists better? Want to read and talk about natural history, both nonfiction and fiction? Then, the Naturalists Book Club is for you!
The Book Club provides an opportunity to broaden your knowledge and appreciation of natural history, especially with a focus on Texas.
We meet on a regular basis—bi-monthly, starting in January—on the 3rdThursday, 11:30 am-1:30 pm, at a local restaurant. At each meeting, a volunteer provides questions and facilitates the discussion, which is typically very lively! Individuals suggest new books to read, and members then vote on which selection they prefer. Examples of recent books read are The Natural History of Texas, Naturalist, and The Overstory. So, come join us!
