What makes a bird a raptor? We'll answer that question, talk about families of both diurnal and nocturnal raptors (falcons, accipiters, buteos, owls, etc.), and take an in-depth look at the lifestyles and behavior of the beautiful birds of prey that reside along the Upper Texas Coast and beyond.
As always, we'll share our personal videos to illustrate how you can use behavior to help with identification and provide tips and tricks you can put to immediate use in the field.
