Hackberry Gully Bird Survey
Come join Gary and the gang as they count all the birds at the Hackberry Gully Park! Hopefully they will see the Vermillion Flycatcher and other winter birds.
They will also walk the proposed site of the “Hackberry Prairie” and the possible sites for the “Bird Island Project”. Both projects have initial approval of the city and will strive to increase habitat for birds.
Experienced and/or beginning birders are welcome to help identify as many birds as possible at the park. The group is building a list of birds seen over time so all help is welcome.
Meet at the parking lot north of Langston Drive.
Bring binoculars, snacks, and water.
