Hackberry Park Tree Planting
Join the Mont Belvieu Bird City Texas Team in planting trees on the large island at Hackberry Gully Park. They will be planting 55 trees (spaced 10-15 feet apart) on the shore line of “Bird Island”.
Twenty youth volunteers and twenty adult volunteers are needed. The planting volunteers will be divided into five teams – each team will plant eleven trees. Teams will consist of two adults and four youth (to do the digging). There will be non-digging volunteer opportunities!
Bring rubber boots, gloves, hat, round-point-digging shovel, drinking water
Meet at the first parking lot north of Langston Drive.
