Raising Awesome Awareness Recreation Day

Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge will be holding “Raising Awesome Awareness Recreation Day” at Champion Lake. They will need volunteers to help visitors with paddling, fishing, birding, dipnetting, and hiking. We could also use volunteers to help with setting up (@ 9 am) and taking down (@ 1 pm).
This is an event dedicated to serving people and families with intellectual disabilities. This day is always a lot of fun! If you know anyone from the public with a disability or a family member with a disability that may enjoy the event, please invite them to join in the fun.
