Join the Friends of the Trinity River Refuge for a fun and educational day at the beautiful Champion Lake Public Use Area to show our appreciation and support for the Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge.
7:30 – 8:45 – final set-up, including tables and canopies
9:00 – 2:00 – events with the public
2:00 – 2:30 – take down, clean up
The activities are listed below with their leaders, but more volunteers are needed.
Paddle for the Wild – Houston Canoe Club

The Big Sit Bird Count (Lisa Holmes, dawn to 7:00 pm at the pier, would like four people at each two hour time slot or you could just stay all day!)
