The Lower Trinity Basin Chapter offers training sessions for new Texas Master Naturalist volunteers as well as continuing education opportunities for current members. These events introduce participants to the ecosystems, wildlife, and natural resources of Southeast Texas through both classroom learning and field experiences.
Upcoming Training
The Lower Trinity Basin Chapter typically offers a new Texas Master Naturalist training course each year. The next training class is expected to begin in Fall 2026.
Training sessions include both classroom instruction and field experiences designed to introduce participants to the natural resources of the Trinity River basin.

Advanced Training Opportunities
In addition to the initial training course for new volunteers, the Lower Trinity Basin Chapter offers advanced training opportunities throughout the year. Each monthly chapter meeting includes an educational presentation from a guest speaker or subject matter expert.
