Ways to create a pollinator garden and beekeeping – July 21
For the past ten years Patrick Kostecka has been a beekeeper as a hobbyist. He will share with us his experiences with honeybees and how he has added native plants to benefit native pollinators also. He will present on both his honeybees and his experience creating pollinator gardens for butterflies, hummingbirds and native bees.
Patrick Kostecka, lives in Stephenville and graduated from Tarleton in 07 with a BS in wildlife management. His work experience is in the private sector as a wildlife manager for several ranches in the cross timbers area. Species he has managed for are bobwhite quail, deer, turkey, dove, duck, and various fish. His career with TPWD began this past December as a natural resource specialist.
