Introductions and social time for new trainees, chapter leadership, and members. Social time follows the first class of the current year. Trainees: Meet Board Members and learn about the chapter management areas they lead. Chapter members are invited to get to know the trainees and help them get to know you.

Come join us as we provide an interpretive program and hike for the public at Cleburne State Park. The topics vary each month.
Free Public event. This is a citizen science monthly bird count recorded in eBird. Walk starts in the parking lot and goes to the bird blind and along trails from there. Masks and social distancing encouraged. Recommended: Binoculars, camera, water, hiking shoes, and clothing suitable for the weather.

All members, guests, and visitors are invited to the chapter’s monthly meetings. Each meeting starts with a potluck (dinner on us for guests and visitors), followed by a speaker and the business meeting. Keep Burleson Beautiful is the catalyst organization that combines all nature organizations working with the City of Burleson Parks Department in a reporting meeting that recurs monthly. All interested persons are welcome to attend. Texas Master Naturalist, Rio Brazos Chapter members serve on the Board.
Friends of Acton Nature Center (FANC) meet every second Wednesday to discuss, review, and plan tasks and projects for maintaining the native character of the nature center, along with maintaining facilities and offering educational opportunities.
