At the Edith Moore Nature Sanctuary
Owl Prowls begin with a lively program on owls including a rare opportunity to meet live, rehabilitated owls at the Edith Moore log cabin. Then we go out on the Sanctuary’s wooded trails in search of wild owls.
Dates: November 2, 2018; December 7, 2018; January 11, 2019; February 8, 2019
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Fee: $10.00 adults; $8.00 children (ages 6-17), payable in advance. Refunds are only given for adverse weather cancellations, if unable to be rescheduled. Maximum group size: 5 persons.
Minimum Age: All prowlers must be at least 6 years old. (1 adult chaperone for every 2 children)
Reservations: Pre-registration is required. Reservations will open later in the year.
What to Bring: Dress for walking in the woods – including insect repellant. Adults may bring a flashlight. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.
Weather: We’ll email you the afternoon of the prowl if stormy weather forces us to reschedule.
Parking: Please park in the Memorial Methodist west parking lot (12955 Memorial Drive) or the Sanctuary’s small lot at 440 Wilchester.
