Maria “Masi” Mejia
Masi received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Conservation of Natural Resources with a minor in Agricultural Leadership in 2013 and a Master of Science in Wildlife, Aquatic, and Wildlands Science and Management in 2016 from Texas Tech University.
She has been with the East Foundation since the summer of 2016 serving as their educator and has served as their Manager of Education Programs since fall of 2021. Masi works to deliver natural resource education to the underserved communities of South Texas. She organizes educational program on East Foundation lands and with likeminded partners, such as: Texas Wildlife Association, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Quail Unlimited and The Witte Museum.
