Dr. Clark Wernecke
Project Director, Gault Project at Texas State University and Executive Director of the Gault School of Archaeological Research, San Marcos, TX
Clark Wernecke received an MBA from Northwestern University, an M.A. in Anthropology from Florida Atlantic and a Ph.D from the University of Texas at Austin. With a strong background in business he has specialized in the management of large archaeological projects. He is currently researching the history of the famous Gault site in Bell County and is the lead researcher on the incised stores from Gault, the earliest provenienced art in the Americas.
