Melissa Casarez
Melissa is an Aquatic Biologist with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Rivers Studies Team. She has worked on a variety of research projects centered around fish community and biological monitoring in river systems and was the Assistant Collection Manager at the University of Texas Ichthyology Collection for over 10 years. She has over 15 years of experience working in Texas waters across the state and is passionate about conservation of our state’s beautiful rivers and the critters that inhabit them.
