Individual Adult Volunteers (ages 18 and up) are any adult individuals who would like to volunteer on a regular basis, with a minimum of two shifts (4 hours each) per month. Schedules are flexible.
Volunteer duties for Texas Master Naturalist hours include:
- Welcoming guests into the McLean Family Texas Wild Gallery
- Engaging visitors with the components and explaining the activities
- Leading guests to the Mary West & Richard Traylor Sounds of Texas, the SWBC Live Lab, and the East Foundation Land Stewardship Lab
- Exploring the Birds and the Bees exhibit
- Maintain and assisting with the Pollinator Garden once it’s planted
- Being a general way-finder and Museum guide
