Native Plants of Central Texas – April 23

Learn how to identify the native plants that grow in and around Austin. This 6-hour class consists of two parts. During Part I of the class you will learn the basics of plant identification, including how to use a plant key to identify plants. Then, we will head outside and apply our knowledge to identify plants in the gardens and on the trails at the Wildflower Center. In Part II, we will learn about conservation of rare plants and how to recognize the most threatening invasive plant species and take action against them. Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Fee: $95.00
