Cheryl Lewis Speaking on Creating Healthy, Biodiverse Neighborhood Corridors

Texas Master Naturalist (TMN) – Brazos Valley Chapter invites the public to our monthly chapter presentation.

Speaker: Cheryl Lewis – Cheryl chairs the Texas Master Naturalist – Brazos Valley Chapter Committee on Habitat Restoration and Maintenance
Title: Creating Healthy, Biodiverse Neighborhood Corridors

Summary: Cheryl Lewis will present Part 2 of a pair of presentations by Doug Tallamy, professor of entomology at the University of Delaware. The first part (presented at a meeting last year) was “The Value of Having Native Plants in Our Yards.” In the second part he discusses the use of green corridors to connect habitats. Cheryl will play the DVD and then lead a discussion on the material covered and its application to our natural environment in Texas.
