Earth Day Celebration at Wolf Pen Creek Park

As usual our chapter will be hosting two booths at the April 22 Earth Day celebration at Wolf Pen Creek Park. We will have a children’s booth where we will have several activities. We usually have a minimum of 3 volunteers at that booth. We will also have an adult booth that will also need at least 3 volunteers. Our focus this year will be educating visitors on pollinators, perils facing them and ways to help. The Celebration hours are from 11:00 am to 3:00pm. Some of us arrive about 10:00 to set up and stay till about 3:30 or 4:00 to clean up. This is a great chance to get a good number of volunteer hours, plus it is a lot of fun to meet all the visitors and see all the other activities.  You do not have to be expert in the display topics to contribute to the success of our booth.
