Field trip to the Schubot Exotic Bird Health Center

Please join us for a free field trip to the Schubot Exotic Bird Health Center on Saturday, November 17, from 9-10am. This trip will be led by Debra Turner, Senior Research Associate and Aviary Manager, and PhD student Paulina Escondin. Paulina has worked on research for many years with birds at the aviary and will tell us a bit about her work. We will spend about an hour chatting about aviculture and research conducted by scientists with the Schubot center, and then walk to see some of the birds. The Schubot Center is part of the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Sciences complex in College Station. We will meet at the Aviary Health Complex, TAMU building #0165 with directions found on this website link http://vetmed.tamu.edu/schubot/contact-us. There is limited parking next to the building (1 ADA and 9 regular parking spots), with parking in the grass as an option if it hasn’t rained too much. Otherwise extra parking may be found at the General Services Complex, located across Agronomy Rd.
