Whooping Crane Festival Booth Staffing

Port Aransas, TX February 22nd-24

The International Crane Foundation (ICF) is seeking Whooping Crane Festival attendees who can lend their time to the International Crane Foundation (ICF) booth.

It’s very complex to commute to the area during the festival, so we are specifically seeking those already planning on attending the festival who may have some time in their day to drop by the booth. Duties would be talking to the public at the booth and giving information both about ICF and Whooping Cranes in the area. We are seeking volunteers for short shifts – only one to two hours – as we want to be respectful of the time for everyone enjoying the festival. We will also set up a training with the individuals who sign up to go over the information and the general procedures.

Volunteers are needed to inform the public about the International Crane Foundation and help answer questions about Whooping Cranes in Texas. Volunteer shifts can be as little as one hour, and times especially needed are between 11am and 1pm.
