The Rio Brazos Audubon Society invites the public to a free bird walk, Birding 101, on Saturday June 1st at Lick Creek Park Meet at the Visitor Center at 8:30 AM. Drinking water, bug spray, and sunscreen are recommended.
The Houston chapter of Prairies will host the North American Prairie Conference on June 2-5, 2019. It's still being planned so watch their website for updating information. The Conference will take place at the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus. More info: http://www.northamericanprairie.org/
