Meet us at LCP for our second Invasive Species Removal Day. Meet in the LCP parking lot where we will receive our instructions and targeted species for the day. Bring gloves, clippers, insect repellant, water/snacks, and anything else you think you might need. We will be removing Japanese honeysuckle along Yaupon Loop.
This is North American Butterfly Association (NABA) Fourth of July Butterfly Count. If you like to be part of this event, come and meet us at the Lick Creek Nature Center at 9:00 am. The Rio Brazos Audubon Society invites the public to their monthly bird walk, Birding 101, on Saturday April 6 at 8:30 AM in Lick Creek Park. Meet at the Visitor Center. Bring binoculars and a Field Guide if you have them, drinks and bug spray.
