2024 Coastal Prairie Conservancy Lands and Legacies Two Day Conference

In person workshop. Fee to attend. Two days, October 24 & 25th. Lectures held Oct 24th starting at 8am at the George Ranch Historical Park. Day two Oct 25th will be field trips. Conference ends Oct 25th at 5pm.
The Coastal Prairie Conservancy and partners in the Texas Coastal Prairie Initiative (TCPI) are excited to announce Lands & Legacies: Texas Coastal Prairie Conference 2024!
A full day of workshops and presentations will take place on Thursday, October 24th at the George Ranch Historical Park in Richmond, Texas, followed by field trips to remnant and restored prairies as well as working ranches and farms on Friday, October 25th.
Conference topics will include restoration and conservation success stories, new conservation easement funding opportunities in Texas, land management guidance for landowners, partnership projects and strategies, green energy and sustainable land management, prairie education, climate change opportunities and challenges, land use changes in Texas, and ecotourism.
