AT: Big Day Birding Workshop

Want to take your birdwatching skills to the next level and participate in a global phenomenon? The Global Big Day challenges birders to see as many species as possible in 24 hours. In this workshop we’ll work through confusing spring migrants like warblers, vireos, and wrens so you’ll know what to look for during the big event. We’ll also talk about how to use eBird to contribute to events like the Big Day. Weather permitting, we’ll go on a bird walk to practice these new skills and create an eBird checklist.

Notes: Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather. Binoculars will be available to borrow.
