Bring:             Picnic lunch and $6.50 cash

Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center is located on the banks of Goose Creek in Baytown and is host to thousands of visitors and school children each year. An official site on the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, the Wetlands Center boasts a 9,000 square foot exhibit area; a 14,000 square foot building including a science lab and computer lab. Gator World, with its juvenile alligators and large wetlands mural is a favorite with visitors young and old.

Activity:        Class/science lab on plankton presented by one of their experts.

Nature hike around their lake with a guide

Picnic lunch.

The cost per person is $6.50 ($2.50 for the class and $4.00 for the nature center). Please bring cash with you to pay the center directly.

They are requesting a headcount from us so that they can adequately prepare their class.
