AT: Chapter Field Trip to Karl’s Lavaca Ranch

CANCELLED due to weather. RESCHEDULED from Saturday, 21-May – Field Trip to Karl Baumgartner’s Lavaca Ranch to explore the spring wildflowers and learn a bit about botany. This is a 570 acre location with oak forests, a 100 acre hay meadow, 15 acre oxbow lake, and beautiful Spring flowers. It is located on the Lavaca River north of Edna approximately a 90-minute drive from Rosenberg.
Departure: 8:00 am from Band Road via car pools.
Return: by around 4:30 pm.
Bring your own box lunch; drinks of iced tea and soda will be provided. We will eat lunch on an outside deck overlooking the oxbow lake.
Karl will provide ATVs for on-site transportation, so space is limited to 20 participants. Please e-mail Karl or call him at 832-595-4844 if you would like to attend.
