AT: Coastal Prairie Conservancy Lunch’n’Learn – 20,000 Milkweeds Project

June 25th 12pm – 1pm Virtual.

Join our Lunch & Learn program introducing our new Monarch Butterfly Habitat Enhancement project!  Discussion of habitat requirements and strategy for growing native milkweed in the Katy Prairie.

Through a generous grant, we are 1) collecting native milkweed seed, 2) growing out 20,000 milkweed plants, 3) planting those milkweeds across the Katy Prairie, and 4) creating 50 acres of Pollinator Buffer Strips!

We need volunteers to help with all aspects of this endeavor! Please join to learn how you can get involved.
