What’s brown and round and found on the beach? That’s up to you and your scavenger hunt team! Perhaps it’s a sea bean, or a shark eye snail, or even an egg collar! We can’t wait to see what you discover at San Luis Pass. Register now for Fall Field Day and put your 4-person team together – it’s going to be a lot of fun!
The Texas Master Naturalist – Cradle of Texas Chapter is pleased to host our 7th Annual Fall Field Day on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 10am-3pm. Our theme this year is “Open to Interpretation” and we are looking forward to a fun, hands-on, interactive event that will include a team scavenger hunt!!
This in-person event will be held at San Luis Pass County Park in lieu of our regular October chapter meeting. The chapter will provide snacks and a light lunch for all attendees. Participants will receive 4 hours of Advanced Training credit.
Join us for a fun day learning about the history of Follett’s Island and the art of interpretation – how we can make nature education engaging and deepen understanding by creating meaningful, personal connections between the topic and the audience that inspire further learning or action on their behalf.
Register now to reserve your spot! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/
Registration fees: Free/COT-members, $5/non-members
Registration deadline: October 4, 2024
We appreciate your support of this event!
