AT: David Bezanson- Conservation Projects in Texas

David Bezanson, Land Protection and Easements Manager at The Nature Conservancy will talk about prairie and land conservation in Texas. He is working to acquire preserves and conservation easements statewide. He was instrumental in NPAT’s recent acquisition of the Talbot Brothers Prairie in Northeast Texas.
David is a past NPAT board member, and served as executive director of Texas Land Conservancy, a land trust which has conserved 80,000 acres in Texas. He is working on a book about the natural plant communities of Texas and conservation priorities.
