AT: Dove Banding Training

Shaun Oldenburger (Dove Program Leader) will conduct the dove banding training session at the Outdoor Archery Range in the back of the AgriLife Offices on Thursday May 11 from 10 AM to 1 PM.  Bring a lunch/snack and something to drink.  In addition to the dove banding training he will give a presentation on the results of previous years dove banding results.   For any NEW dove banders we will need names, addresses and Driver’s License Numbers to put them on the state and Federal dove banding permits.  It is not necessary for folks to be retrained but if you want to learn about previous years dove banding results and get a refresher course you are more than welcome to join in on the training session.  You must attend training class to become Certified to participate.  Dove Season is May, June and July.  Banding supplies and bait will be handed out at this meeting.
