If you are new to birding and bird identification then this hike is for you. Brazos Bend State Park is home to over 300 species of birds making it the perfect place to bird-watch all year round. Meet up at 40 Acre Lake to enjoy a guided hike focusing on the diverse bird population inhabiting the area. Learn to identify different species by sight and sound.
This trail is 1.2 miles long, relatively flat and graveled, and easily accessible for anyone that wants to join us! Don’t forget to bring your binoculars, field guides, hat, and plenty of water!
