Get more from your school’s gardens!  This workshop is a unique opportunity to walk the Arboretum’s gardens to identify, harvest, and store seeds. Seeds tell the story of how plants move around without feet or wings. You’ll take home your own classroom display for future instruction.

All educators are welcome at the Houston Arboretum Educator workshops, including classroom teachers, outdoor educators, scout leaders, homeschool parents – anyone who wants to learn fun, hands-on ways to teach children about science and nature.

The Arboretum’s workshops include:
