April 5th 10am – 12pm in person at the Houston Arboretum.
Many native plants aren’t available at nurseries – so grow them yourself! In this hands-on class you’ll learn about different methods of plant propagation. Then, you’ll get the rare opportunity to collect seeds and cuttings to get your own plants started. Each participant will leave with native plant seeds, seedlings, and cuttings, as well as supplies to propagate more plants on your own.
Instructor: Nova Morales is a Natural Resource Specalist on the Arboretum’s conservation team. She is passionate about ecological landscaping, sustainability, conservation, and teaching others about the importance of protecting our native ecosystems.
